Haelixa has teamed up with the Italian fashion brand OVS for the second year in a row. Their partnership focuses on marking and tracking cotton grown in Italy, ensuring transparency and trust across the entire supply chain.

Haelixa has added its DNA markers to OVS’s cotton operations. The cotton, grown in Italy, is marked with DNA at the gin, near the farm. The fibers are tested throughout the manufacturing process to ensure the cotton in OVS's collection is sourced ethically and sustainably. This collaboration highlights their shared commitment to promoting responsible and transparent practices in the fashion industry, giving customers confidence in knowing where the cotton comes from.

Haelixa CEO Patrick Strumpf shared, "By tracking the path of the Italian-grown cotton, we’re helping OVS bring complete transparency to their supply chain." He further added, "The DNA marking boosts trust in the brand and allows OVS to confidently promote their products as sustainable."

Simone Colombo, Head of Corporate Sustainability, shared, "In 2024, we are continuing our work with Swiss DNA traceability provider Haelixa to mark and track our OVS Cotone Italiano for the second year. Our goal is to source around 5% of our cotton from Italy in the coming years."
