GMWA organizes three day garment fair held in Hyderabad

The Garments Manufacturer and Wholesalers Association (GMWA) has organized a three-day ‘Garment Fair’ which is also the consecutive 19th edition of the “Garments Fair Hyderabad which began from Sunday for Garment Manufacturers, Dealers and Retailers.

The event was inaugurated by S Niranjan Reddy, Telangana Planning Board Vice-Chairman and Somesh Kumar, Principal Secretary.

This edition witnessed a much wider participation in terms of visitors and exhibitors, who are not only from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, but also from Mumbai, Indore, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Ludhiana.

GMWA president Pawan Bansal said that this fair offer huge business potential and it is primarily responsible to attract major national brands to participate in the fair.

They congratulate the Government of India on implementation of GST from July 1. This historical decision is welcomed by one and all from the Textile & readymade Industries.

At the fair, one can look forward to a variety of product lines covering ranges in cotton and blends, woven & knits, treatments finishes, prints and patterns, lines & stripes, embroideries & appliqués.

Last year approximately Rs40 crores of business has been generated with 3,000 delegates attending the fair.

The Garment fair will run from 23 to 24 July at Classic Garden in Secunderabad.
