Gebrüder Mehler to show its new development in corporate wear at Munich Fabric start

The Gebrüder Mehler, a fully integrated manufacturer of uniform cloth, loden, eco- and decorative textiles in Tirschenreuth, has made new development in corporate wear using special Trevira fibres, the fabrics meet all the rigorous demands of work and corporate wear. They are hardwearing, easy care, low-pill, bioactive and possess a positive climate effect. The new developments by Mehler will be presented at the international leading trade show for textiles and accessories, Munich Fabric Start, will take place from 1st September to 3rd September 2015 in Munich Order Center MOC & Zenith hall.

Renowned weaver, supplier and specialist of ingredients from around the world present themselves at this exhibition.

The special profile of the fibres in the fabrics makes possible a more rapid dispersal and removal of moisture from the lower side of the material than is the case with other materials, for example natural fibres and also filaments with circular profile. The fabrics are breathable and provide a good body climate: the more so as the bioactive effect anchored in the fibres makes the wearer feel clean and fresh. In addition, the textiles are pleasantly light, with the elastane element used in the yarns supplying greater comfort to the wearer.

The new qualities are being launched under the Trevira Perform Moisture Control brand. As they are available in various fabric constructions, weights and colours, they are suited for all outer wear articles. Nowadays corporate wear should not only look good, it has to be comfortable and functional as well, said managing director Paulus Meh¬ler.

With their new development they are able to cover a large part of the most vital properties. They have in addition a wide range of possible end uses to offer customers and they can as well produce the fabric to meet the customer’s own individual needs. With their in-house dyeworks they are in a position to supply fabrics that match corporate identity, and in small quantities too, starting from 25 metres.

Gebrüder Mehler was founded in 1644 and the oldest fabric manufacturer in Germany occupies two sites – a weaving mill with finishing and dyehouse facilities in Tirschenreuth, and a wool spinning mill at the Forst site in Brandenburg.
