French textile machinery set to participate at Techtextil

This time at the Techtextil trade show, during the course of the four day exhibition, UCMTF, the French Textile Machinery Manufacturers Association, with its group of around 30 companies, is set to participate at the show.

The French machinery manufacturers mostly consist of SMEs, who rather than selling ‘off the shelf’ machinery can provide tailor-made technical manufacturing equipment to suit the specific needs of customers.

UCMTF president Bruno Ameline ahead of the show said that as they do not compete on mass markets machinery, they have to focus on niche markets, and often design special machines for specific applications. The size of their companies makes possible an integration of their marketing and R&D departments.

UCMTF supports its members’ international initiatives, in particular for international events. In addition to the exhibitions directly organised by Cematex, the French manufacturers have to participate in regional or national shows. UCMTF is instrumental in their selection, and provides substantial logistic assistance via the organisation of French pavilions and their local promotion to leverage its members’ efforts.

UCMTF can be found exhibiting at Hall 3.1, Booth A73 during the course of Techtextil which will take place from 9-12 May in Frankfurt, Germany.
