Textile manufacturer Fine Cotton Factory that produces a range of woven and knitted fabrics for apparel and furnishing applications, from natural and man-made fibers and blends has launched its new Fine Nursery collection of mattress ticking patterns as part of its ongoing strategy to help retailers differentiate themselves in the juvenile bedding category.

The line, launched at the March International Sleep Products Assn. Expo in Orlando, features five whimsical patterns, four of which evoke the bond between a mother and child. One of these showcases two hearts, a larger one enveloping a smaller one, while another features a large loop connected to a smaller loop. These and two others illustrate the strength of the mother-child relationship through intermingling patterns that are shown in updated color palettes.

A fifth design features a bunny sitting on a crescent moon surrounded by hanging stars, an image that is reminiscent of drawings in children’s picture books.

This new collection of animated designs is a tribute to not only all the things they have come to accept as common through exposures, but also a strategic move that meets one of the fastest growing segments in the sleep products industry, said Skip Kann, Fine Cotton Factory director of special projects.

All the universe’s beauty, and everything in it, is captured and embraced in the Fine Collection. They believe it offers a touch of whimsy through unique visual concepts of nouns and verbs, people and places, and events which have ascribed epic proportions.

Other inline ticking collections include the Fine Sensual collection, geared toward a more mature audience, and the Fine Sporty collection, which is geared for the sports-minded metro/Millennial market.
