The Kingfisher Ultra Style Week Goa – Season 1 to be organized by Storm Fashion Company which will feature four designers, Nazia Syed, Hari ANand, Ramesh Dembal and Verma De Mello from Goa. National show director and fashion choreographer Lovell Prabhu said that this is the first time that they are hosting a fashion show in Goa.

After organizing 42 fashion shows across 16 cities, they decided to host one in Goa to promote fashion, textile, knitwear, leather, gems and jewellery and seek all relevant buyers.

On day one the show will begin with Chennai-based designer Nazia Syed’s collection ‘Rise of the phoenix’ which has garments ranging from cape dresses and flowing maxis, to structured tunics and embellished gowns. This will be followed by host designer from Goa Verma De Mello who will be showcasing eighteen garments themed ‘Women for women’,that will have garments in bold and happy colours and trendysilhouettes

Day 2 will feature Kochi-based Hari Anand who will open the show with his collection ‘Nautica’ consisting of fun-filled silhouettes that can be worn on a holiday or to lighten up one’s mood.

Curtains will come down on April 3 with the grand finale by Ramesh Dembla from Bangalore who works under his label Krishna Dembla. He is excited to bring to the Goan ramp his collection ‘Ivory Dreams’. His collection tries to bring the charm of fairytale endings with high street fashion.

Lovell said that the reason behind choosing Goa to host The Kingfisher Ultra Style Week Goa – Season 1, is it will give designers an opportunity to showcase their collections to global fashionistas.

Besides having former Miss India, Natasha Suri as the brand ambassador of Style Week, actress, Meera Chopra; Miss India International, Supriya Aiman; former Miss India, Aprajita Sharma and actor Arjun Bajwa will walk down the runway.

The Kingfisher Ultra Style Week Goa – Season 1 began at Club Tao, Baga from 1st April and will end on 3rd April.
