Evlox partners with Recover to promote circular textile technologies

Denim manufacturer, Evlox and Recover, a materials science company, entered into a three-year agreement to collaborate on advancing cutting-edge technologies that would hasten the transition to a circular textiles industry.

Evlox has also committed to using recycled cotton fiber from Recover, which is created from textile waste and processed with “minimal environmental impact,” in its denim products.

The agreement supports the denim brand’s desire to offer more ecologically friendly products, make the switch to a more circular business model, and meet the objectives of its CSR program by 2025.

This month marks the launch of Re-Iconics by Evlox, the first line produced as a result of this collaboration and made using recycled fibers made in Spain by Recover.

Jamie Lloréns, CEO at Evlox, said that they are happy to contribute to making textile circularity a reality. And they believe that innovation is the key to a competitive and sustainable fashion sector in the future. They keep looking for new, sustainable solutions to helpthems create new fibers from discarded textiles, whether through partners, procedures, or materials.
