Ever Dye receives ANDAM Innovation Award

The ANDAM Innovation Award for 2022 has been awarded to Ever Dye, which is developing a new dyeing process combined with a new bio-based pigment to depollute the textile sector.

The prize was created to assist and encourage technological advancements that help to revolutionize and redefine the fashion business today. Ever Dye will get a grant of 70,000 euros to continue developing its groundbreaking technology, which allows for faster dyeing with less energy and no petrochemicals.

Nathalie Dufour, founder and general manager of ANDAM, said that she launched the ANDAM Innovation Prize in 2017 with the objective to spotlight and encourage game-changing innovation that will help the required ecological transition of our fashion sector

Dufour added that the endowment for the 2022 edition reached 70.000 euros thanks to the generosity of their sponsors; her objective for future editions is to strengthen this Prize, which plays such an important part in the fashion industry’s future. She’d like to congratulate Ever Dye on its green chemical solutions, which will help to minimize the energy footprint of traditional dyeing without the use of petrochemicals.

Ilan Palacci, co-founder and chief executive of Ever Dye, said that the textile industry is undergoing a fundamental transformation in its production process: from materials through manufacturing and dyeing, all processes must be reimagined. He is honored that the Expert Committee regarded their dyeing technique as a genuine response to today’s environmental concerns and decided to allow it. ANDAM’s recognition and mentorship will enable them to think bigger and achieve greater success in their commercial endeavors.

Eva Engines, a digital platform that simplifies the fashion design process; Fairbrics, which aims to combat climate change by developing circular manufacturing processes that use renewable resources rather than petro-sourced products; and Fairly Made, which enables fashion brands to integrate French and European regulations to improve their social and environmental impact, were the other finalists for the innovation award.
