Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PHMA) had submitted revised proposals on duty drawback rates on export of hosiery garments and woven garment to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) which has been finally accepted.
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has raised duty drawback rates on export of hosiery garments and woven garments. The rates are worked out by the Input-Output Co-efficient Organisation (IOCO) of the Customs.
A Customs notification in this regard was issued on October 6, 2015, stated, PHMA Chief Coordinator, Muhammad Jawed Bilwani and Central Chairman, Saleem Parekh.
PHMA, about four years back made tireless efforts and prepared a revised working paper for duty drawback on export of hosiery and woven garments, white blended polyester/cotton garments; dyed blended polyester/cotton garments; white 100 percent cotton garments and dyed 100 percent cotton garments.
