Memphis-based coffee and culture brand Cxffeeblack has joined forces with COMOCO Cotton, a sustainable textile company founded by Stephen Satterfield, to create a special coffee-dyed T-shirt made from unbleached cotton. This collaboration aims to reclaim and redefine industries that have historically relied on Black labor without fair recognition.
The T-shirt is crafted from ethically sourced cotton and dyed using Cxffeeblack’s Guji Mane coffee, sourced from Ethiopian farms. Featuring the phrase "God Don’t Make No Junk," the design represents self-worth, cultural pride, and resilience.
More than just a product, this partnership is part of a larger movement to reshape narratives, restore cultural ownership, and build sustainable Black-led industries. By bridging Black agriculture, creativity, and business, Cxffeeblack and COMOCO Cotton aim to empower Black artists and communities by ensuring long-term control over their supply chains and economic opportunities.
