With four decades of innovation and quality, Culp Inc. headquarters in High Point, NC., supplies a wide range of mattress and upholstery fabrics across the globe. Culp Inc.’s Home Fashions Division plans investment of $9.5 million to expand its mattress fabrics operations.

The two-phase project includes a building expansion, and additional finishing and fabric production capacity; with a late fall 2014 phase one completion target and early spring 2015 phase two target. The capacity expansion will include operations in the United States, Canada, China and Poland.

Culp Home Fashions has enjoyed solid growth with record annual mattress fabrics sales of over $160 million in fiscal 2014, said Iv Culp, president of Culp Home Fashions.

These expansion initiatives are an important investment in their future growth and reflect firm commitment to meeting the demands of their customers. Their goal is to further develop scalable and reactive capacity base, and to stay ahead of the decorative trends and increasing demands of the mattress industry.
