French fashion brand, Coperni has entered the rental market by partnering with UK-based rental platform Hurr.
The brand, which is well-known for its viral runway moments and has a lengthy list of notable fans, will now offer a carefully curated edit on the internet that will include things from its current spring/summer 2023 collection.
Also, items from the Coperni archive, like the renowned Coperni Swipe bag that frequently appears on catwalks, will also be hired out.
CEO Victoria Pew originally debuted Hurr in 2017, and it has since developed into a renowned tech-first platform with the ambition to become "the Airbnb of fashion," as Pew told Forbes in 2019.
Prior to releasing a white-label solution in 2021 to enable businesses to use its rental services, Hurr operated as a peer-to-peer marketplace.
The website has recently garnered a number of new visitors thanks to major partnerships with both premium and luxury labels, including Selfridges, John Lewis, & Other Stories, and Mulberry.
Later on in the year, it was given four million pounds in finance, which it used to expand its operations and develop its own technologies, which fueled its growth.
