The grand event is organized by Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd, co-organized by Ministry of Industry and Handicrafts, Garment Manufacturers Association in Cambodia (GMAC), and Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC), and officially sponsored by General Directorate of Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce (TPD).

As the leading industrial trade fair in Cambodia, CIMIF & CTG will boast the most comprehensive exhibits covering numerous industrial sectors such as Plastic, Rubber, Packaging, Printing, Raw Materials, Auxiliaries & Accessories, Auto Parts & Accessories, Food Processing, Agriculture Machinery & Related Equipment, Metalworking & Automation, Hardware & Tools, Energy & Electricity Engineering, Lighting, and Textile & Garment.

With strong presence of international brands at the fairs, trade visitors can easily locate optimal suppliers of whatever industrial products they need in the fields through this one-stop business trading platform.

Inspired by Cambodia’s strong economic growth momentum, globally renowned industrial leaders are participating in CIMIF & CTG to better explore opportunities in the Cambodian market.

They will demonstrate a wide variety of cutting-edge machinery equipment, parts and components, and technologies, including printing machinery and packaging machinery for food, p0harmaceutical and cosmetic industries from RIECKERMANN; sheet metal fabrication machinery and industrial lasers from TRUMPF; classical ironing table with an iron and a steam generator to ironing presses from VEIT; sewing needles, knitting machine needles and felting needles from ORGAN NEEDLES; sewing machines from JUKI; and bending tools and systems from EISENKRAFT, among others.

To help trade visitors efficiently find suitable products and potential suppliers at the fairs, the show organizers will cooperate with Cambodia Chamber of Commerce to provide business matching service for pre-registered buyers this year.

By knowing buyers’ needs and preferences in advance, business matching specialists will be able to help them single out potential suppliers and arrange trade talks between both parties. Through the mechanism, all the participants can find optimal partners to network with, tap more business opportunities, and build long-term business partnerships.

After decades of steady economic development, Cambodia has successfully drawn attentions from foreign entrepreneurs.

Its capital city Phnom Penh, for instance, has been selected to host the 2017 World Economic Forum (WEF) on East Asia.

Ms. Sophari, spokesman from WEF’s head office in Switzerland said that Cambodia can be chosen as a role model among the less developed countries. Nevertheless, Cambodia still has some challenges to tackle, such as low productivity, rising labor cost and small manufacturing coverage now mostly confined to garment and food processing.

To address these problems, the government is moving to expand and upgrade its manufacturing structure by soliciting more sophisticated manufacturers to invest in the country. In this regard, upgrading machinery equipment is also among the most effective solutions to boosting the overall production capacity.

By visiting CIMIF & CTG, one can source a wide spectrum of quality industrial machines, keep informed of the latest industrial developments, and partner with key industry players. It’s certainly the best opportunity to help access the global value chain and jump on the bandwagon of joining the development of a technology-driven and knowledge-based industry.

The twin shows will be held from 26 to 29 August at Di0amond Island Convention & Exhibition Center (Koh Pich).
