Chargeurs PCC
Chargeurs PCC, the world’s largest apparel interlinings manufacturer, announced the launch OF The Zero-Water Rainbow Collection of eco-friendly knitted interlinings. In addition to white, natural, and off-white, the collection of ultralight inner components is offered in 15 more colors that are all colored using a patented waterless process to reduce the impact on the environment.
For couturiers and premium businesses that employ the most opulent and light-weight materials to make clothing, the Zero-Water Rainbow Collection offers the thinnest interlinings. Delicate and sheer garments need silky, soft interlinings that are practically undetectable and offer flexible structure, durability, and adherence without taking away from the color of the outside fabric.
In order to guarantee that the designs of the designers drape flawlessly and wear well, with no discernible change in the color of materials used to construct different layers of clothing, the collection is offered in a wide range of sustainable hues.
Gianluca Tanzi, CEO of Chargeurs Textile, said that as part of their commitment to sustainability via innovation, they’ve utilized their knowledge to produce a breakthrough dying method that needs absolutely no water. The top designers in the world may find the flexibility and enhanced adhesion they need in the Zero-Water Rainbow Collection of sustainable interlinings, which come in a variety of colors to complement almost any fabric.
One of the components of fashion production that uses the most water and produces the most pollution is the conventional dyeing process. The UN estimates that 20% of all wastewater is produced by the fashion sector, and textile dyeing is the second-largest cause of worldwide water pollution. The majority of this wastewater is discharged into the environment untreated, where chemicals from dyes can harm living things like people, animals, and plants.
In order to solve this problem, Chargeurs PCC created and developed a unique waterless dyeing method that includes coloring the interlining glue rather than the fabric itself. The Zero-Water Rainbow Collection is offered in extremely small order quantities and is delivered quickly, preventing overproduction and the need for fashion firms to buy more material than they actually need in order to fulfill minimum order requirements.
The company’s textile and chemical experts oversee the production of the Zero-Water Rainbow Collection at Chargeurs’ century-old, fully integrated Lainièr de Picardie factory south of Paris.
