Centric Software partners with Hultafors Group to revolutionize supply chain

Centric Software®, a prominent company specializing in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), is excited to announce its new partnership with Hultafors Group, a global leader in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and one of its major brands, Snickers Workwear. This collaboration is a significant move for Centric Software, coming shortly after teaming up with Decathlon and Style Union in October 2023.

To achieve their goal of tripling sales between 2023 and 2030 and meeting sustainability targets, Hultafors Group has launched a global digitalization initiative. This initiative is aimed at building a strong digital foundation to utilize the potential of digital technology, streamline business operations, and create innovative solutions for customers while keeping track of sustainability efforts.

Martin Edling, the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Hultafors Group, emphasizes the critical importance of data in today’s world, often referred to as the new ‘gold.’ He mentions that one of their initial projects involves implementing a PLM solution, a significant milestone for the group.

Snickers Workwear, being the largest brand in the group, will make use of Centric PLM throughout its operations to monitor the entire product journey, from the initial idea to the finished product. The PLM system will serve as a central hub for all sorts of data, including material and chemical analysis results, which helps them comply with complex safety gear regulations from third-party organizations.

Additionally, Snickers Workwear will use Centric’s platform integrations to advance their sustainable packaging goals, improve assortment analysis, streamline line management with the Textile Library, and introduce the Supplier Portal.

Their ultimate goal is to expand the use of Centric PLM across the entire Hultafors Group, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing among the various brands in a shared online environment.
