Cascale, formerly known as the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, has announced a collaboration with the ZDHC Foundation, a leading organization in sustainable chemical management. The partnership aims to align and enhance environmental sustainability efforts within the fashion and broader consumer goods industries.

The initiatives driven by Cascale and ZDHC seek to streamline processes, reduce redundancies, and improve data quality. Additionally, they plan to promote unified, industry-wide education on sustainable chemical management. By leveraging the core competencies of each organization, the collaboration aims to harmonize approaches to environmental sustainability at the facility level.

This partnership will continue to push for collective action, ensuring consistent improvements in key environmental impact areas such as wastewater management, sustainable chemical practices, and air quality. The collaboration builds on past efforts, including the alignment of Cascale’s Higg Brand and Retail Module (BRM) with ZDHC’s Brands to Zero reporting, and the integration of the Higg Facility Environmental Module (FEM) 4.0 with ZDHC’s Supplier to Zero Programme.
