According to the manufacturer, sanitized is an antimicrobial finish that protects the fabric against bacterial growth and odours, making it ideal for healthcare professionals and those working in medical environments, as well as hospitality, retail and food processing industries.
The company explains that, garments keep their outstanding stretch performance throughout extended wear and wash cycles, including industrial laundering. Carrington will also be launching its new Hudson 200 fabric and showcasing a range of fabrics available with a Sanitized finish.
Carrington’s Stretch range has comfort and durability at its core. It is designed to reduce constraint on activity, which allows wearers to work more efficiently. Garments can flex and respond without placing strain on their construction, ensuring they retain their original shape and appearance.
Charles Wilson, UK Sales Manager at Carrington Textiles said that, ‘‘Delivering advanced worker protection and wellbeing is our key priority. We are extremely excited to be attending the Professional Clothing Show and look forward to showcasing innovations that are providing workers with durable, lightweight and comfortable fabrics that also offer protective qualities.â€
Taking place at ExCel London, this year’s show partnered with the Safety & Health Expo to showcase workwear and personal protective equipment designed to meet the needs of multiple industries.
New to the market this year, the Hudson 200 fabric has been developed for workers requiring a lightweight but hardwearing material in demanding environments. This durable fabric is ideal for trousers and jackets and comes with a moisture management finish where temperature control is key.
To exhibit its Stretch range, Carrington Textiles headed to the Professional Clothing Show, in London quite a few days back, which is shortlisted in the Best Fabric & Fibre category at the Professional Clothing Awards.
