CARBIOS, a company specializing in eco-friendly technologies for plastic and textile recycling, has joined Paris Good Fashion, a French association uniting over 100 brands, designers, and experts committed to sustainable fashion.

As the first recycling technology supplier to join, CARBIOS underscores the importance of recycling in achieving circularity in textiles. By offering its innovative solution for biorecycling polyester, CARBIOS aims to support Paris Good Fashion's mission of accelerating change in the fashion industry through concrete actions and collaboration.

CARBIOS will play a key role in Paris Good Fashion's initiative to establish a working group focused on developing a "fiber-to-fiber" industry, a top priority for the association over the next five years. Transitioning from the linear model of polyester production, which relies on virgin polyester from petroleum and recycled polyester from PET bottles, to a circular "fiber-to-fiber" industry will breathe new life into textiles and minimize their environmental impact.

Bénédicte GARBIL, Senior Vice-President of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability at CARBIOS, emphasized the company's commitment to a circular textile industry and its alignment with Paris Good Fashion's goals. Together, they aim to drive change in the fashion industry towards sustainability.

Isabelle Lefort, co-founder of Paris Good Fashion, expressed enthusiasm for CARBIOS' membership and highlighted the importance of supporting the development of a Fiber-to-Fiber industry.
