Brooks Brothers re-launches black fleece label with formalwear collection

Brooks Brothers, the iconic lifestyle clothing brand, has re-launched its Black Fleece label, a refined capsule collection of formalwear for both men and women. Initially introduced in 2007, the line aimed to reinterpret classic styles with a contemporary edge. Designed by Brooks Brothers’ Creative Director Michael Bastian, the collection blends craftsmanship and tradition with modern sensibilities.

The new Black Fleece collection is crafted from the finest European fabrics, aligning with the brand’s high standards for formalwear. It features a wide range of meticulously crafted pieces for both men and women, made in Italy and Portugal from premium materials like Italian milled wools, silks, and Sea Island cotton. These extraordinary pieces are intended for the most special occasions.

Highlights from the men’s collection include a silk linen grosgrain shawl lapel tuxedo, a wool and silk double-breasted peak lapel tuxedo, and a silk hopsack shawl lapel dinner jacket. For women, the collection offers two elegant tuxedos in black or white, made from ultra-fine merino wool, featuring feminine cuts with drawn lapels and a silk mix faille collar.
