British online fashion retailer, Boohoo, has launched a new Recycled Wardrobe Essentials collection created from more sustainably sourced materials.
The new collection was designed with recycled cotton, recycled polyester, and viscose in mind, with the goal of providing clients with "essential wardrobe staples that can be worn again and time again."
The collection includes pieces in neutral color tones to help buyers design a wardrobe with a mix of professional and casual outfits. The collection's standout pieces include a hooded longline puffer gilet, an oversized roll neck jumper, a printed check scarf, and a wide-leg knitted pair.
The line is priced at £8 and comes in sizes 8-28.
Rosie Howells, Head of Sustainability at Boohoo, said that everyone should be able to buy items that make them feel beautiful at a price they can afford. But they know that fashion has a major impact on the environment. This collection is a great example of how their teams are working hard to understand and mitigate that impact, creating fundamental wardrobe pieces that their customers can wear time and time again.
The debut of the new collection follows the recent news of Boohoo's entry into the beauty market with the launch of its first beauty collection.
