Bluesign releases new revisions to promote sustainability

Bluesign, a chemical management specialist, has released its latest revised restrictions for chemical components for a more sustainable manufacturing process in the textiles industry.

This latest circular includes the removal of all PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) from the Bluesign Finder tool as part of the organisation's phase out of the so-called forever chemicals.

The limits for bisphenol S, bisphenol F and bisphenol AF have been defined now after two years of examining their usage in the textile chemical products.
