Traceability platform provider Aware has announced a collaboration with Baichuan Resources Recycling, a leader in recycled polyester, yarn, and fabric manufacturing. The partnership combines Aware’s tracking capabilities with Baichuan’s sustainable materials, creating a fully traceable solution for recycled products.
“Together, Baichuan and Aware will deliver a transformative solution, ensuring all products are 100% verifiable with real, authenticated data,” said Rogier van der Velde, Baichuan’s co-owner. With the industry leaning towards transparency and regulatory compliance, such as the Digital Product Passport (DPP), this partnership is timely. It enables brands to trace products from recycled bottles to final textiles, reinforcing Baichuan’s reputation for trustworthiness and transparency.
Koen Warmerdam, Aware’s co-founder, remarked, “Circularity starts with traceability. We are thrilled to collaborate with Baichuan, establishing end-to-end transparency and empowering brands to make authentic sustainability claims.” Through this partnership, Aware and Baichuan aim to set a new standard in the textile industry’s journey towards a circular economy.
