Atelier Jolie, Angelina Jolie's clothing brand, will partner with Chloé to create a limited collection that celebrates femininity, according to the French fashion house.
Both the parties will develop the exclusive ready-to-wear line, which would be “an exercise in modern femininity” and “celebrate authentic women-to-women connections”, as stated by Chloé in a statement. The capsule would be co-designed by Jolie and Chloé creative director Gabriela Hearst and will honor the commitments of both brands. It will also focus on improving environmental and social sustainability with higher accountability and transparency.
Artisans from a Fair Trade enterprise will be showcased in the collection's elements. The collection will also spotlight female-led companies. Additionally, it will focus on creating looks made from dead stock materials.
In a statement, Hearst said, “From the moment I heard about Angelina’s vision for Atelier Jolie, I believed in it." “It is a way to elevate others through the beauty of garment-making and her deep respect for the environment. It’s an honor for me that Chloé will be the first collaborator for Atelier Jolie, as both have high ideals for the betterment of our species. That is the reason why I love both Angelina and Chloé so deeply.”
The company is said to reveal additional details at a later date.
