The inaugural edition of the EGE TMF Aegean Textile, Garment Machinery, Textile Chemicals and Printing Technology Exhibition will be held later this month in Denizli, Turkey, where Shima Seiki, a leading computerised knitting machine manufacturer of Wakayama, will participate.
At EGE TMF 2017, the company will exhibit a wide range of its products, including new proposals in seam-free WHOLEGARMENT knitting technology that requires no linking or sewing, as an alternative to labour-intensive manufacturing in the Turkish market.
Featured is the flagship MACH2XS WHOLEGARMENT knitting machine with original SlideNeedle on four needle beds and spring-loaded moveable sinkers, as well as the compact SWG091N2 for producing smaller WHOLEGARMENT items and accessories.
Novel proposals in knit-weave hybrid fabrics will be made on the SRY machine featuring specialised loop presser beds and inlay knitting capability. The SIP-series inkjet printing machine will also demonstrate high-speed high-quality printing directly on fabrics, as well as on finished goods. The P-CAM series computerised cutting machine rounds out the Shima Seiki exhibit.
Demonstrations will be performed on the SDS-ONE APEX3 design system that is at the core of the company’s Total Fashion System concept. With comprehensive support of the product supply chain, APEX3 integrates every stage from planning and design to machine programming, production and even sales promotion into one smooth and efficient workflow.
Photo-realistic simulation capability allows Virtual Sampling to minimise the need for actual sample-making, reducing time, material and cost while increasing presentation quality in the sampling process. APEX3 supports design and simulation in a variety of industries including flat knitting, circular knitting, weaving, pile weaving and printing, the company reports.
EGE TMF 2017, will take place from Wednesday, 22 to Saturday, 25 March 2017 at Denizli Egs Fuar Merkezi Izmir asfalti üzeri 5 km. EGS Park üzeri Denizli, Turkey.
