Archroma, global color and specialty chemicals company, announced the renewal of its EcoVadis “Platinum” status and further improvement of its overall rating.

Following a thorough evaluation by EcoVadis that looked at 21 criteria divided into 4 themes — Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement — Archroma increased its score by 4 points (from 78/100 to 82/100). This was largely because of its ongoing efforts in sustainable procurement, which center on supply chain transparency and sharing best practices with suppliers and other companies in the same sector.

A limited assurance was done on a number of key ESG measures, including CO2 emissions, water consumption, workplace safety, and gender diversity, according to a report by KPMG included in the report. The audit was successfully completed by Archroma, providing yet another confirmation from a third party of the company's unwavering dedication to its ESG objectives and roadmap.

Danielle Blomert, chief sustainability officer at Archroma, added that their purpose is to lead their industry toward a more sustainable future for their customers and markets, and they are doing everything they can to execute that objective.
