Planet Conscious+
Archroma has introduced its “Planet Conscious+” initiative, designed to foster innovation, transparency, and sustainability within the apparel and textile sectors. This initiative builds on the company’s existing expertise to help brands and mills navigate the complex challenges of sustainability.
The “Planet Conscious+” initiative is structured around six key dimensions, with four already launched earlier this year. These dimensions represent different aspects of Archroma’s commitment to creating sustainable solutions that address global challenges such as climate change and economic instability.
Mark Garrett, Group CEO of Archroma, emphasized the initiative’s significance in guiding the company’s next phase of development. He highlighted the need for the company to realign its vision in light of current global challenges, stating, “Planet Conscious+ encapsulates both our responsibility and our potential as a company that touches and colours people’s lives every day, all around the world.”
Paul Cowell, Vice President of Innovation, Marketing, Brand Engagement, and Sustainability at Archroma, explained that “Planet Conscious+” is designed to drive meaningful change at scale. The initiative deepens Archroma’s commitment to innovation and sharpens its focus on both consumers and the environment. Cowell emphasized that innovation must be paired with accountability and trust.
As part of “Planet Conscious+,” Archroma aims to provide brands and mills with the tools to measure and communicate their environmental impact. This approach underscores the company’s commitment to fostering a more sustainable future for the textile industry.
