Initiated by biomaterials pioneer Spiber Inc., the Alliance unites prominent fashion brands, manufacturers, and suppliers to promote the use of bio-based textile materials and chemical treatments.

One of the Alliance's early achievements is the creation of a Materials BioCircularity Database, designed to help brands and mills assess how their selection of fibers, dyes, and finishing chemicals impacts the recyclability of finished products.
