AQUAIR® prioritizes high technical, ecological, and ethical standards in its unique product design, now reinforced by the "100% Vegan" seal. This certification is awarded by Pirmasens Testing and Research Institute (PFI). The vegan-tested seal extends beyond textile substrates to include waterproof, breathable Topaz membrane systems based on polyurethane (PU) and polyester (PES).

AQUAIR's PU hotmelt systems, applied using the Point-in-Point® lamination technology, are also vegan-tested. It also incorporates water-repellent properties without the need for additional additives, meeting Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX® for processing without harmful ingredients.

The foundation lies in a highly breathable overall system centered around a customizable synthetic layer in terms of color and grain. The Pirmasens Testing and Research Institute (PFI) awards this standard when a product, its ingredients, and manufacturing process are proven to be vegan and free of animal origin. The institute verifies compliance with criteria, conducts laboratory tests if needed, and monitors adherence regularly.
