The Javits Convention Center in New York City will host the East Coast’s largest sourcing event from July 18 to 20, 2023. The co-located event will feature a focus on innovation and sustainability, an expansive show floor, and brand-new special feature areas.
The event, renowned for its role as a source of inspiration for designers, buyers, and professionals in the industry, will provide attendees with the opportunity to investigate the most recent fashion, textile, apparel, and home trends through carefully selected showcases and informative presentations. Along with a presentation of the Fall/Winter 24/25 themes and an Explore the Floor Tour led by Creative Director Kai Chow, the Texworld Trend Showcase, which is curated by New York-based trend agency DONEGER | TOBE, returns to the show floor. A free trend book featuring each curated segment will also be available to attendees.
Home textile-focused attendees will be able to take a curated journey through the color, pattern, and material trends for Fall/Winter 24/25 through the Home Trend Showcases, a brand-new component of the co-located event that will be curated by Nancy Fire, Creative Director for Nancy Fire Designs. Fire will lead a Home Trendspotting Tour of the four vignettes featuring products from exhibitors at Home Textiles Sourcing immediately following her trend presentation.
Texworld New York City’s leading educational programs, such as Textile Talks and the Lenzing Seminar Series, will return to the summer event as a prominent forum for the industry to learn about the most recent innovations in the textiles industry and the state of the trade industry. Professionals from Alice + Olivia and Steve Madden, two of the most well-known brands in the industry, will provide attendees with helpful information and insight on how to stay ahead of the competition in a market that is constantly changing.
Lenzing, a key player in the industry and a longtime partner of Texworld New York City, will once again participate in the upcoming summer event with expanded resources and offerings through the Lenzing Seminar Series and Lenzing Innovation Pavilion. These pavilions will feature a variety of sustainable exhibitors who will demonstrate their dedication to promoting eco-friendly practices in the industry.
