The Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) will hold its annual buyer-seller meet in Madrid, Spain, on October 9 and 10 hoping to raise apparel exports from India to that country.
"We have been receiving good responses to the buyer-seller meets, which we have been organizing in Spain since 2008,” AEPC deputy director C Eswarasundar said in a statement.
According to him, Spain is a very attractive market for Indian apparels and it is one of the largest importers of garments with imports to the tune of over US$19399.6 million. “India’s garment export to Spain is US$736.6 million during 2018, which amounts to around 3.8% of Spain’s total garment imports," he said.
