Online retail giant, Amazon, has launched a new brand - Amazon Aware, to make it easier for customers to shop for 'more sustainable' products including men's and women's clothing.

The products are certified as carbon neutral and contain certificates from the Climate Pledge Friendly program under the Amazon Aware logo. The everyday basics encompass women's and men's fashion, beauty and personal care, domestic items, and bedding and bath products, and are aimed at customers aged 18 to 45.

Amazon Aware items are created using raw materials that have confirmed sustainability claims, such as organic cotton and recycled polyester, and recyclable packaging, and are backed by third-party certifications. The goods are constructed using new materials, textiles, and chemicals and are designed to last. They are also cost-effective.

The women’s apparel offering includes T-shirts, tanks, sweatshirts, loungewear, jeans, sweaters, skirts, outerwear, and activewear. T-shirts, sweatshirts, denim, chinos, Oxford shirts, and outerwear are all staples in men's clothing. The collection includes a wide range of sizes, from XXS to 7X, in a variety of hues.

Women's shirts range in price from $18.50 for an organic sleepwear tank to $65 for a sherpa jacket made entirely of recycled polyester. A $20.70 short-sleeve T-shirt made of cotton, Modal, and elastane is available in black, white, navy, brown, light pink, and purple.

Women's jersey ruched dresses start at $36.10 and go up to $43.80 for a fit and flare dress.

Straight-leg jeans in cotton, polyester, and elastane for $43.70 and slim-fit jeans in cotton, polyester, and elastane for $49.20 are also available, both created with Global Recycled Standard certified recycled denim and certified carbon neutral by ClimatePartner.

Men's cotton/polyester sweatpants are $38.30 on Amazon Aware, while cotton/polyester hoodies are $43.80.

Beauty and personal care products in the line include everything from facial cleansers and moisturizers to body lotions and creams. The Amazon Aware balancing face cleanser costs $16.99, while the Amazon Aware balancing face moisturizer with licorice root extract and vitamin C costs $18.99. The vegan daily body lotion with vitamin E and shea butter from the mindful range costs $17.99.

The skincare and beauty products are vegan, dermatologist-tested, and fragrance-free, according to Amazon. They're produced with avocado oil and shea butter and come in glass jars and refillable bottles to help eliminate single-use plastic. Face and body care basics are included in the beautiful collection to help you develop a daily routine.

Amazon Aware also sells a variety of cleaning supplies and home goods, including recycled paper, cleaning cloths, surface cleansers, and, shortly, surface cleaners and laundry packs.

Amazon Aware will provide 100 percent cotton duvet covers, sheets, and ultra-plus towels in the bedding and home textiles category. There are additional paper items, such as paper towels, napkins, and toilet paper, that are made entirely of recyclable paper and contain no dyes, inks or fragrances.
