Amazon India partners with LoomWorld, functioning under the administrative control of Tamil Nadu government's department of handlooms, to offer exquisite collections from LoomWorld on its platform.

This tie-up is expected to promote goods produced by the 800 Weavers’ Cooperative Societies supporting 1.89 lakh households across the State get easy access to newer markets, and transform the way their products were being sold till now.

Silk and cotton weavers co-operative societies are the participating members of LoomWorld. Through this partnership, the store on Amazon.in will offer a selection of products ranging from silk saris, cotton saris, bedsheets, towels and more.

The state is grateful to Amazon India for providing skilled weavers and artisans of LoomWorld with this opportunity to expand their business through online selling', said the state handlooms and textiles minister OS Manian at the recent launch ceremony.

LoomWorld is delighted to partner with Amazon India as it will mark the beginning of a new journey for the weavers to get access to millions of Amazon customers in the country. They are grateful to Amazon India for providing skilled weavers and artisans of LoomWorld with this opportunity to expand their business through online selling.

Established with the objective of providing support to Weavers Co-operative Societies in Tamil Nadu, special showrooms were started under the brand name LoomWorld across the state.

Currently, LoomWorld has showrooms in Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Trichy, Dharmapuri, Kancheepuram and Erode.
