All India Textile Conference to take place on 2 and 3 Feb

The 15th International and 73rd All India Textile Conference being organized by the Textile Association (India), Vidarbha on February 2 and 3 at Dr Vasantrao Deshpande Auditorium, Civil Lines.

Leading industry stalwarts, galaxy of speakers, sponsors and delegates from entire textile value chain are invited to participate and share knowledge, fine tune ideas and demonstrate their product and service excellence. Around 1,000 delegates from all over the country including senior managers, decision makers and reputed textile professionals will participate.

Rajivkumar Dubey, President said that an exhibition of textile machinery and allied sectors will be organised. The galaxy of high profile speakers will further raise the bar of the conference. National and international textile and clothing industry experts have been invited to make presentations on the theme in the conference.

The platform will give an opportunity to all stakeholders to have business discussions on the potential growth in various sectors of textile, clothing and fashion industry. Leading textile business houses are supporting as well as participating in the conference.

He also informed that a investors sessions on ‘Advantage Vidarbha : Textile and Clothing’ focusing on industry, commerce, agriculture, finance and textiles prospective in Vidarbha. They will provide forum for investors for one to one interaction with Chief Minister and all other ministers during this occasion.

The objective of this meet is to encourage industrial investment in Vidarbha, a strategic location with quality land, irrigation facilities and resource availability.

Dr Hemant Sonare, Conference Chairman and Secretary of TAI-Vidarbha while addressing a press conference on Wednesday said that Maharashtra State Minister for Irrigation Girish Mahajan, Maharashtra State Agriculture Minister Pandurangji Pundkar, Maharashtra Minister of State for Textile, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries Arjun Khotkar, Secretary, Amar Seva Mandal Adv Abhijit Wanjari, MLA Dr Anil Bonde, Textile Commissioner Kavita Gupta and Secretary-Textiles Atul Patne will be present at inaugural function.
