The Association of Textile Manufacturers of Ecuador (AITE) has reignited its digital transformation initiative with technology company Tengiva, aiming to help its members showcase products on a B2B marketplace and expand into global markets.
With the help of Tengiva’s expertise, AITE has set up its members’ product data in a new system, digitizing their offerings and integrating them into existing operations, which has also improved internal processes.
AITE President Camilo F. Ontaneda Pinto said, “It took us three years to find the right solution, and Tengiva’s comprehensive service has been a game changer for assisting our members in their digital transformation. It’s not just their technology — their exceptional service ensures personalized onboarding for our members.”
AITE sees this innovative platform as a unifying digital space where all suppliers can connect. This allows Ecuadorian textile suppliers to access international markets, interact with buyers and partners, and increase their visibility in the growing digital landscape.
Tengiva co-founder and COO, Carlos Agudelo, emphasized that Ecuador’s focus on innovation is driving change in the textile sector, highlighting this as a pivotal moment for the country’s digital transformation in textiles.
