Agua x Archive
Agua by Agua Bendita, a Colombian luxury fashion brand, has launched a resale program named Ciclos in collaboration with Archive, a circularity platform for brands. The custom program offers a carefully selected range of the brand’s timeless pieces from its debut collection, Holiday 2019.
The Ciclos program is described as “a pledge to mother nature” and draws inspiration from Latin America’s rich biodiversity and culture. It aims to showcase the brand’s exceptional craftsmanship and enduring design by featuring sought-after linen ensembles and delicate hand-illustrated motifs from its debut resort collection.
Mariana Hinestroza and Catalina Álvarez, the co-founders and creative directors of Agua by Agua Bendita, express their belief in designing pieces that stand the test of time. Through Ciclos, they offer Agua garments a renewed purpose, allowing them to become cherished heirlooms with a second life.
Emily Gittins, CEO and co-founder of Archive, expresses pride in partnering with Agua by Agua Bendita for Ciclos. The program provides an easy way for shoppers to give their Agua pieces a second life, contributing to a more sustainable and circular fashion economy.
The Ciclos website will feature exquisite, hand-embroidered pieces like the Durazno One Piece, a labor-intensive creation taking 72 hours to complete by one of the brand’s artisans. Additionally, the website will showcase the 2019 kids’ partnership with Maisonette and unique pieces from the “Heirlooms” collection, paying homage to Latin America’s captivating biodiversity and culture.
