An Australian skin and beauty care label Aesop has joined hands with a brand known for responsible fashion design and circularity, Raeburn.
The newly formed partnership will commence in the month of January and has been created to meet the demands of the consumers. The brand aims to address shared principles around practicality, functionality and purpose.
Raeburn is known for introducing responsibly designed luxury apparel globally to provide new frameworks for fashion. The company’s Remade philosophy has pioneered the utilization of surplus fabrics and garments to design innovative and utilitarian pieces. The new concept that has an unusual balance of high concept, accessibility and wearability will commence through this new venture with Aēsop.
Adam Kakembo, the chief marketing officer for Aesop’s, stated that they admired Christopher's ability to blend functionality and convenience with aesthetic desirability. He stated that with a shared commitment to responsible design, they have created a concept inspired by the needs of their customers as they navigate towards the new normal.
The creative director of Christopher Raeburn stated that they wanted to create something completely innovative for the market. He stated that above all he wanted to provide a truly unique, responsibly designed product that could provide the best companion for their naturally curious customers in today's ever-changing world.
The collaboration has come as Aēsop aspires to evolve its approach to design by applying sustainable and circular principles to transition its products, packaging and operations.
