Advance Denim, Lenzing’s TENCEL brand, and ROICA by Asahi Kasei have teamed up to launch the LoopTy Collection, a capsule series that combines functionality, style, and responsible fashion.
The LoopTy Collection, debuting at Kingpins Hong Kong this November, features a range of denim styles from lightweight to heavy fabrics and gender-neutral, one-size-fits-all designs. These pieces emphasize inclusivity and sustainability, catering to eco-conscious shoppers.
“By blending TENCEL Lyocell fibers with ROICA V550 degradable stretch yarns and leveraging Advance Denim’s expertise, we’re offering a modern take on denim that balances fashion and sustainability,” said Dennis Hui, global business development manager for denim at Lenzing. The collection appeals to consumers who prioritize style and environmental responsibility.
Earlier this year, Lenzing partnered with Asahi Kasei to integrate biodegradable TENCEL fibers into ROICA V550 degradable stretch yarns. These innovative materials decompose into carbon dioxide and water under controlled composting, reflecting the brands’ commitment to sustainable and circular textile solutions.
The introduction of ROICA V550 required no changes to Advance Denim’s production processes, making the yarns easy to adopt. “Sustainability and performance have guided us since 1987,” shared Amy Wang, general manager of Advance Denim. “This collaboration offers an opportunity to innovate denim styles, inspiring brands and designers to explore new creative possibilities.”
