Scottish fashion logistics firm ACS Clothing Limited (ACS) that helps brands and retailers launch resale and rental models, has raised £2.5 million (US$3.4 million) in investment to expand its operations and workforce.
Industrial Lending, which is managed by Boost & Co., is ACS' largest shareholder.
In a statement, ACS chief financial officer Andrew Rough said that the fresh investment of 2.5 million pounds will allow them to invest further in their world-class facilities and increase their workforce to service their existing and future clients.
When ACS established its first brick-and-mortar store more than 25 years ago, it was a formal hiring firm. The firm now maintains an 85,000-square-foot, fully automated facility in the United Kingdom, which it claims is the country's largest rental and resale fashion fulfillment center.
ACS's facility allows fashion labels to launch rental or resale models by providing warehousing, order administration, RFID technology integration, eco-friendly ozone cleaning and sanitization, garment repairs, and automated picking, packaging, and dispatching of orders.
The company says that they make it easier for both new and established companies to access the rental or resale market.
