100 percent hemp bed sheets pioneered by Delilah Home

Textiles brand Delilah Home has become the first in the US to offer an extensive collection of 100 percent hemp sheets.

The company also offers organic cotton towels and sheet sets certified to the stringent Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS).

Delilah Home says hemp is commonly regarded as a ‘scratchy’ fibre more suited for rope but it is using a non-toxic process to soften the material to a linen-like feel.

Hemp is also highly absorbent, antimicrobial and long-lasting making it ideal for the brand’s extensive new collection of sheets and duvet covers, according to the company.

“Delilah Home’s goal is to create an organic safe haven in your home,” says Delilah Home CEO Michael Twer.

“We are excited to be the first company in the US to offer such a deep collection of beautiful and luxurious hemp and organic cotton products for the home.”

Delilah Home was founded in Charlotte, North Carolina, in 2019 with the aim of bringing high quality organic and sustainable home textiles to North America’s homes.

The company was named after the owner’s puppy which survived extreme cold temperatures and record winds while lost in the Carolina mountains for 62 days in 2018.
