Spun viscose yarn prices were stable to weak across markets as VSF prices have started weakening, particularly in China. However, discounts were available in large deal negotiations.
Sales for siro-spun yarn were healthy, with discounts cancelled at some sellers with inventory decreasing. Selling ideas were reportedly stable for viscose yarn.
In India, 30s viscose spun yarn prices further slipped US cents 3 a kg in Indore market.
Prices in India also moderated a bit reflecting poor domestic and export demand. However, VSF prices still held stable at firm level, which can provide some cost support to viscose yarn makers.
