Offers for spun polyester yarns were steady that week in China, as sales was hard to improve amid insipid demand. With summer approaching, end?use demand is likely to retreat. With fabric inventory high and yarn demand sluggish, yarn producers may trim operation.
In Pakistan, PSF prices were steady on domestic market and whatever change in crude oil prices, intermediate prices did not move, due to a rebound of PTA production in India and China. 30s spun polyester prices rolled over during the week.
In India, polyester yarn prices remained unchanged both in Ludhiana and Indore markets, given the stability in PSF cost.
