Nylon filament yarn prices picked up given the rise in nylon chip and caprolactum prices and in turn, operation was at breakeven. Major producers pushed up offers and small?sized makers held intentions to hike prices.
Nylon yarn makers run at high run rates and thus supply increased which weighed on market prices. With slack season ending, converters made some replenishment and followed up. Otherwise, supply/demand fundamentals are balanced with some procurement from the downstream.
