Asian caprolactum markers, the SE and FE were unchanged in the last week of July. In China, offers for liquid spot were up US$50 a ton while solid goods offers rose US$20 a ton on the week.
Caprolactum prices edged up further that week on moderate demand and tight supply in China, while other markers rolled over. CPL producers reduced operating rate and pushed for higher prices. In China, liquid CPL offers in spot market were quoted higher while discussions followed through.
