In Qianqing, PC (65/35) 32s yarn prices rolled over in the second week of May while 45s PC combed yarn prices remained unchanged on the week.

In China, blended spun yarn prices remained unchanged in the week as cotton prices were stuck at the same level on the domestic market while import prices were falling. Spinners were waiting for a clear direction of the future trends before changing their offers.

In India, PC yarn prices were seen inching up on support of firm cotton market while PV yarn prices rolled over amid stable PSF and VSF cost. 30s (65/35) PV warp yarn prices were flat in Indore market. In Ludhiana, PC 30s (52/48) prices inched up INR1 a kg (up US cent 1).

In Pakistan, a relatively larger demand was reported for fine count polyester-viscose yarn, supported by lower imports from India. PC yarns remained flat in the week, in line with stable PSF prices. 20s PC (52/48) carded yarn prices rolled over on the Faisalabad market while 30s were flat during the week.
