Fine Cotton Factory (FCF), headquartered in Toronto is a leading textile manufacturers, of a range of woven and knitted fabrics for apparel and furnishing applications, from natural and man-made fibers and blends announced that it has doubled its production space to 80,000-square-feet as a result of higher than expected increase in demand.
The expansion will house 70 knitting machines including several new high speed decorative mattress ticking machines that will allow for an increase in production capacity to 500,000 yards per month.
The new machines having average of 30 percent more feeds than other machines currently in use in the market, FCF’s high efficiency operations will now be able to produce significantly more fabric per square foot, all manufactured with FCF’s technology in-hand.
The expansion, which includes a larger, 5,000 square feet of display space, design studio, and sample room showcases the company’s broad array of samples and design capabilities. FCF is also planning to open a testing lab in the expanded facility to support product quality control programs later this year.

They have rebuilt their entire factory to increase space and production capabilities and significantly enhanced their ability to produce high-quality fabrics for their U.S. customers.
The company is also planning to introduce several new products in 2016, including imported woven and knitted copper-infused fabrics, new themed design strategies, phase change yarns and more, and fully leverage the substantial experience in apparel fabrics, and dyeing and finishing of the company’s personnel to continue FCF’s industry leadership.
Fine Cotton Factory produces decorative ticking for every shape and size mattress, including every available yarn, design and color. They will be now introducing new fabrics this year, the expansion will support the growing popularity of all their fabrics, technologies and treatments.
The expanded facility will allow FCF to increase production of eco-friendly textiles and fabrics including recycling waste raw materials and fabrics and operating clean rooms as part of the manufacturing process.
