FyterTech Nonwovens, a leader in the sorbent industry, has announced major upgrades to its Spilfyter® product line with the launch of 20 new products across five categories. These enhanced offerings are now available through local industrial distributors, with more details accessible on the company’s website.

One of the key introductions includes upgraded recycled rag rugs, made with post-industrial recycled fibers at FyterTech’s De Pere, Wisconsin facility. These new rugs are 30% stronger and absorb 40% more liquids than previous versions. Available in both pad and roll formats, they are effective for cleaning up oil, water, hydraulic fluid, coolant, and solvents.

The company has also improved its Spilfyter railroad mat line. Designed for placement inside and outside rail tracks, the mats are made from post-industrial recycled fibers and include a poly backing that prevents hydrocarbons from seeping into the ground, helping reduce environmental damage from spills.

To help prevent workplace accidents, FyterTech is introducing the new Spilfyter Grab & Go pads. These high-visibility yellow absorbent pads come in portable dispensers that can be mounted throughout workspaces to allow for rapid response in case of leaks or drips.

For controlling leaks and forming barriers, FyterTech has launched the new Spilfyter SpilLock Socks. Lab-tested to absorb 50% more liquid than standard socks, they use SpilLock technology to contain both water-based and petroleum-based fluids while preventing secondary drips. Made from post-consumer materials, these socks offer an eco-friendly and effective solution.
