KOLAB Collection, a sustainable clothing brand, is introducing its secondhand retail platform, LOOP, a circular fashion initiative designed to extend the lifecycle of KOLAB garments by facilitating their resale to new wearers, promoting sustainability and reducing waste.
Since its launch in October last year, KOLAB Collection has been at the forefront of using NFC (Near Field Communication) tagging technology on a broad scale. NFC tags support garment authentication, inventory management, resale facilitation, and traceability. LOOP builds on this ecosystem by creating a seamless platform for passing on KOLAB items to new users.

KOLAB’s outerwear is equipped with NFC tags, simplifying the authentication process for buyers and sellers. This eliminates the need for third-party verification and streamlines inventory and shipping management, ensuring smooth transactions.
Currently, LOOP is exclusive to KOLAB clothing, but the brand plans to expand the platform. Future developments include offering the technology on a B2B basis, enabling other businesses to integrate circular fashion practices into their retail operations. LOOP represents a step forward in embedding sustainability into the core of retail businesses.
