Kingpins Hong Kong hosted its second annual pop-up event at the DX Design Hub in the Sham Shui Po district, putting the spotlight on denim innovation and the legacy of workwear.
The event featured 24 exhibitors, including denim mills, fibre companies, garment producers, chemical firms, and textile equipment manufacturers. It was one of several fashion-focused events happening simultaneously in the district.
Vivian Wang, managing director and head of global sales at Kingpins, shared her thoughts on the event: “This season, The Fashion Union’s emphasis on workwear allowed the Kingpins community to explore denim through that perspective. Denim’s origins in workwear continue to inspire today’s designers.”
She added, “The timing of our pop-up, coinciding with The Fashion Union’s eight-day celebration and preceding the Spring/Summer 2025 Lumiere Runway shows, reinforced Hong Kong’s status as a fashion hub. We were thrilled to engage with the denim community there.”
