Adidas is set to launch its latest innovation, the Climamog, a 3D-printed sneaker that has generated considerable buzz on social media. Building on the Climacool concept, the Climamog is designed for enhanced breathability and comfort, featuring a 100% polyurethane upper with a lattice-like structure achieved through 3D printing. This design includes breathable openings that extend to the sole, promising a high level of ventilation.
Sneaker photographer Tyler Mansour previewed the Climamog, highlighting its futuristic design and redefined comfort. The sneaker has already been released in Malaysia and Singapore in an Off-White colorway, with a retail price ranging from $146 to $168. While a US release date has not yet been confirmed, hints have emerged from a Customs and Border Protection tariff ruling that describe the 3D-printed design and production process, suggesting a potential launch in the US soon.
Adidas has a history of integrating Climacool technology since 2002 and has explored 3D printing in previous collections. The Climamog represents a significant advancement in fully 3D-printed footwear, marking a notable evolution in Adidas' approach to sneaker design.
