Freudenberg Performance Materials Apparel has introduced the innovative Film Bonding series, designed for advanced sew-free bonding. This new range of solutions enhances manufacturing processes with greater efficiency and precision. Alongside this launch, Freudenberg Apparel is also expanding its Net Bonding and Dot Bonding series to meet the specific needs of the stretch active, intimate, and athleisure wear markets.

The Film Bonding series features a film structure with high-quality adhesive, offering strong shear bond and recovery. This allows garments to conform to body shapes while maintaining their form after stretching, greatly improving durability and comfort. The series also eliminates bulky seams, giving fabrics a clean and smooth finish.

Freudenberg Apparel's Film Bonding solutions are available in tape form and can accommodate various weight requirements from 90 to 220 g/m², including ultra-thin options under 80µm. The series includes TPE and TPU variants with different softness levels, ideal for stitch-free bonding in garments like briefs, bras, vests, and leggings.

In addition to the Film Bonding series, Freudenberg has introduced a new oval net structure to its TPE polymer adhesive Net Bonding series. This complements the existing Diamond and Hexagon patterns, offering more choices for a range of applications. The expanded weight range of 50-240 g/m² in the Net Bonding series makes it ideal for creating breathable, elastic, and well-structured garments, including leggings and sports bras.
